today I've got a special guest on the podcast. His name is Dr. Joe Boot. So Dr. Joe Boot is a Christian

thinker, cultural, apologists and philosopher and also the founder of the Ezra Institute for contemporary

Christianity and founding pastor of Westminster Chapel in Toronto, where he currently resides. So

Joe is originally from Great Britain and he has worked in the fields of Christian apologetics

and worldview education and church leadership for over 20 years, both here in North America

and across the pond. He's done a lot of speaking engagements over his career, a lot of debates. He

actually regularly addresses pastors and Christian leaders as well as academic, medical, legal,

and political professionals as he does these public debates leading with leading atheist thinkers

and philosophers in Canada and the United States. He really, really engages with a lot of things

about the Christian worldview on a regular basis. He's the author of a lot of different books,

including his new book, which we'll be spending a lot of the time during this interview talking

about and that is ruler of kings. So the thing about this interview is we can win in a lot of

different directions. We have somewhat limited time. We're going to take care of that later in the

future. We're going to have him on to talk about some other things. He deals with so many things in the

world of theology and philosophy and Christian apologetics, but the overwhelming majority of our

time today was spent on the role between essentially the government and the church or the government

and God. And so that is what the main stay and the main focus of his book, Ruler of Kings is

because guys in this world that we live in right now with COVID, we're going into three years now

of this COVID stuff and the overreach and tyrannical overreach really have a lot of governments

around the country. You know, we see these internment camps essentially in Australia. We've seen

some of the crazy lockdown issues that they're having in Europe. All the craziness going on
