In Class with Carr. It is something that started during the pandemic when I asked them if we could

press record on a conversation we were having about Ida B. Wells and that set off now 200 and almost 60 consecutive Saturdays of discussions about where we are in the world,

as well as historical moments and figures in time.

It also led to the creation of narrative, narrative.

The K is silent like knowledge, and it is a space that we created

to be a repository of historical information,

a repository of a wealth of knowledge that basically comes out of the brain

And a year into narrative, we created Nubia, also with a K, the K is silent, to create a space

for us to commune.

So narrative is the knowledge space.

It is the largest Afrikanist Studies classroom in the

world. In Nubia is where we convene and we have groups. There's actually a Karen Hunter show

group in Nubia that if you are a Nubian, you can join us there. But that's where we are organizing.
