Fasting is the quickest way to get a healing response in the body, and it is the one tool that harnesses innate intelligence. Also, fasting is free and time-efficient. The whole world can do fasting; they just need to learn what it’s about. Fasting is this healing response that the world is catching on to now because it's as powerful a healing tool as sleep. Every religion disagrees on everything except fasting. Overall, fasting transforms people physically, spiritually, and emotionally. The Importance of Having A Balance Between Feasting and Fasting People need to understand that symptoms should be read and acknowledged. Women have three primary sex hormones that drive their behaviors, sleep, and mental state. Estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone need vastly different things. Fasting is a tool that should be used with proper feasting; you should be able to go in and out of ketosis. When feasting, remember to eat based on the season. No healthy culture ever stays on the same diet because they can't. Our genes and our microbiome are set up to change diets, whether it be weekly, monthly, or seasonally. What Are The Health Benefits of Ketosis? Your brain gets so many benefits from ketosis. Almost two-thirds of the population are experiencing cognitive decline. Your brain loves ketones. For decades, people have been put on a keto diet to fix neurodegenerative diseases. Ketones are a tool for regenerating the brain. With fasting and ketosis, you hit therapeutic levels that you can't hit, just being in ketosis. Your brain needs these ketones to heal. Plus, ketosis will change the microbiome and increase diversity. Lastly, ketosis will help turn off bad genes due to stressful living. How Important Is Gratitude? The most crucial fasting tool is gratitude. Every time you say thank you to someone, you are releasing oxytocin which brings down cortisol. When cortisol comes down, insulin is easier to regulate, and your sex hormones will be a piece of cake. If you don’t fix the cell, you won’t get well. Gratitude will decrease cellular inflammation. When your inflammation is reduced, your cellular function will increase, which will help you feel good. Overall, gratitude is a free tool that you can use!
