Summary

Andrew comes to the pod this week with a barnyard axe to grind: Why ain’t there country music for them northerners? Down On The Farm by Tim McGraw proves the PERfect vessel for his punch up which turns out inventing an entirely new subgenre of music!! Evan is both aghast and delighted. Dana Schwartz (Anatomy: A Love Story; Noble Blood) saves the day as official Rhode Island Consultant, and together they figure out a lot about Quahogs, casual country sexism, wine scrotums, and Hollywood nepotism.

Guest: Dana Schwartz

Special Guest Punch Vocal by Zachary Williams of the Lone Bellow!

Punch ups available as standalone tracks on Patreon!! It's the best deal on the internet!

Walk-in music: The First Cut Is the Deepest by P.P. Arnold; Forever and Ever, Amen by Randy Travis; The Funeral by Yungblud

You go right by Dead Horse Bay, so there was at least one horse at now because it lived in New York.

0:32.0

If that horse is on a farm, still be alive.

0:34.0

Okay, okay, farm stuff.

There is a whole full winery in my neighborhood on top of a roof.

0:42.0

Is it on top of a roof?

0:43.0

If it's on a roof, that's a city hipster winery.

0:45.0

But it's still a farm winery.

0:47.0

Is it a Peter Velestyle winery where a rotund man is holding up the grapes to the light and smiling at them?

0:55.0

Maybe not, but a winery it is.

0:58.0

You're talking about Peter Velestyle, the box wine guy?

1:00.0

I don't really think it's a boxed wine guy.

1:04.0

Why keep it in the box when you could take the bag out of the box and travel with it?

1:08.0

You know, although when I do that, you know, don't call it a bag wine.

1:11.0

That's not very classy. I call it a skin of wine.

1:14.0

It makes me feel like a medieval squire, like Sancho Panza.
