which you might have not heard of before, and I'm here with a special guest. Doug Wilbur.

Hey, thank you. What a treat to be with you and finally we meet in person.

Yeah, exactly. And we're here to cover your two-part series, Rebooting the Bible.

And I'll just give you the subtitle of this, because I think it's fascinating, the astonishing story of a 1900-year-old rabbinical conspiracy

to corrupt the Bible's ancient history

and thwart belief in Jesus as a Messiah.

And really, there's so much here.

And one of the things that you do in the book,

which I have been following, really,

when I came across your book, I thought,

wow, this is other material that I had been following in other places, but you kind of bring

it all into a nice collection here, which is great. And so let's talk about for a minute because

how did you come to even come to the development of, there's two books here, but just the whole idea of

rebooting the Bible. Why the title? What were you doing? Yeah, well, I've made a new friend,

a guy named Barry Sutterfield, but at the time, several years ago, I ran across his material out

on a website and started reading on various subjects. Then I ran across his material in the

Septuagint. And I was like, well this is all new stuff. I haven't heard this before. So this

is like five years ago, something like that. So I started researching, researching, researching,

and became convinced that this was probably one of the major missteps of the Reformation was that Luther and Calvin

essentially went ahead and went with the Masoretic tax.
