doing so. Great to be back in the saddle after six months away from KFI. And speaking of

pinch hitting. So I know this is Dodger country and

Angels country, but you know, it's Dodger country. Poor Angel fans. Honest to God, my heart

goes out to you. No one likes the Angels up here, Doug. It's okay. Well, but seriously, I just

pity the people who wear the red and white

because as long as you got Artie Morena, wow. Anyway, I was born a Metfan. I'm stuck with this.

It's my cross to bear. And 99 out of 100 times, it's just awful being a Met fan. They just,

they're just awful or they find

someone, even when they're good, they make you suffer. I mean, it's just, it's, it's, it's, I remember

watching a game a couple years ago when there was a crowd shot of a someone holding a little baby

wearing a Mets onesie. And it was the out of town announcers, for some reason, I was watching their stream.

And they didn't know what to say. It's a dad holding his newborn baby in the Mets onesie.

And the guy says, that's kind of child abuse, isn't it? You know, you're starting another

generation of passing a baton. But so last night, the Mets beat Milwaukee to advance in the players to play Philadelphia from the wild card position in a game that was so exciting, so extraordinary, so unexpected, where Pete Alonzo hits a home run in the ninth inning to flip the script from a 2-0 loss to then a 3-2 lead.

They ended up winning 4-2.

And this is amazing, Eric.

It's the first time in a close-out game in the history of baseball that the deficit was reversed to a surplus on a home run in the ninth inning.

That's honestly what I love about baseball is you can go to a game and you have the chance

to see the first of something ever.

Even after 140 years of this, they're still making first.
