But that's not happening because I'm here and today we're talking all about my college dorm room essentials

A. K. Figuring out your room dealing with a roommate things you absolutely need some

decor ideas, tips, and my biggest regrets.

Guys, I feel like I'm not the best authority to be giving this advice mainly because my dorm room was not cute okay but I had so many Pinterest boards and so many ideas so this is going to be pretty much what I wish I did, what I wish I knew, because my room

not the best. But we're going to change that. Also, quick life update. I was just in Florida at the beach and that was so nice but I'm so glad to be home. My sister's leaving for college in a week, which is crazy because she starts so early. She goes to University of Georgia and is in a sorority there. So their rush starts

really, really early. So she has to be there the first week of August, which sucks. But I'm going to, I'm still going to be here, so that's good.

But yeah, anyway, into the actual episode.

So first thing with dealing with your room. You need to figure out your room layout and

obviously you've never been here so how do you do this? Okay this is one we're going to be really smart and use our big brains. You're

going to go online and search your dorm online and you're going to look up and find your exact room and it'll show you a

layout that's kind of like a blueprint and tell you what's included in your room.

For example, do you have a sink in your room? Do you have

extra drawers? Do you have a desk, a chair, probably. But just knowing what you have will help you because then you know what you absolutely don't need to get.

Also, keeping in mind the dimensions of your room, because I know at least on my hall the rooms the

room sizes were so different it was honestly crazy because my room was a lot

bigger than one of my friend friends rooms and then the room next to me was a lot bigger than my room so it just varies but keep that in mind also quick caveat if you're someone who's not in college or someone who's not living in a dorm,

whether that is boarding school, college, whatever, this episode can still apply to you because one, need it for future reference.

Two, it's fun to talk all things room decor, design, etc. I know that I personally go down a rabbit hole and get

obsessed with creating a Pinterest board with what I want my room vibe to be.
