We are getting into spring. By the time this goes live, maybe it will be spring. I don't know yet.

Spring is such a weird season, in my opinion, because it feels like it should be in March, but it's later in March, I guess, and it's still cold.

Are there even seasons anymore?

That's true.

Spring is always cold to me.

Like, unless you get into May and then you're like, all right, but spring for the most part stays cold, so whatever.

But the point is, is you should be wearing sunscreen no matter what anyways.

So this topic is always relevant.

And we know that our community is obsessed with sunscreen and wearing SPF, but there's also a lot of questions around

it. How much should you really be wearing? Is it bad if you don't wear as much as these people

on the internet say that you need to be wearing? Like, are there good and bad sunscreens, all of these

things? I had the privilege of visiting this founder, Sophie By, at her lab in Boston at MIT, which was incredible last year.

And she was such a wealth of knowledge, specifically when it comes to mineral sunscreens, which I know a lot of people gravitate towards because it's non-iritating.

However, it's not usually the most inclusive.

And so we wanted to have Sophie on to pick her brain about all things.

SPF, sunscreen, testing.

She knows so much.

And I know I'm continuing to talk, but I want to give her little intro here because this woman is an actual genius.

Sophie was recognized by NASA at the age of 16 for discovering an anti-aging compound, which is, Sarah, what were you doing at 16?
