Hello and welcome to dopey the podcast about drugs, addiction and dumb shit and I'm Dave.

I'm extremely excited. We just crossed the two million download barrier. I'm actually wearing my dopey just the head black on black long sleeve shirt to celebrate this accomplishment and I feel really I feel really great about it.

I've heard from a bunch of people in the dopey nation. Thank you for all the the nice messages that's awesome.

It does make me think about Chris. I've been listening to a bunch of old episodes which I've been totally hesitant about doing until now and it's very beautiful but it's also incredibly sad.

I don't really have much to say about it except that we're going to be obviously celebrating Chris this summer as we get to the anniversary of his death and his birthday Christmas.

But as for now I know Chris would have been incredibly incredibly just over the moon for two million downloads. I know when we started making the show we never ever ever thought we were going to get that far.
