Yeah, we're doing our second China-sode.

First one was all focused on my first year in China down in Guangzhou.

But now we're just going to talk about jobs I had in China

because, oh boy, it's a laundry list. I made money in very weird ways. And I mean, I was out there

for eight years. So I have, I had a lot of different professions. Now, last episode, we about how I started off as a preschool teacher and then finally made the jump to middle school.

But after my year in Guangzhou, I was probably partying a little too hard and I had a friend up in Shanghai.

And I was like, I'm having the time of my life hanging out with these crazy scousers in Guangzhou. But like if I don't start sleeping on the weekends, it's going to be bad. So yeah, my friend convinced me to move up to Shanghai. And yeah, just to kind of pay the bills at first, I was also teaching up there. But I was doing a lot of private tutoring. I, like, found out that once I got good tutoring jobs, if I was just doing that, like, 10 hours a week, I could at least pay the bills, which was great. And then focus on some other endeavors, like... Just 10 hours a week? Wow. Yeah, just 10 hours a week wow yeah just 10 hours a week i mean that it

took me a while to find those like high paying jobs um but yeah i've eventually got them and then like

that gave me time to focus on making donnie does videos i also ran this like events nightlife company

with a few friends where we made like zero money doing it but we got to party
