Gavin Newsom (D-CA) condemned the Trump Administration’s use of the National Guard and U.S. Marines to halt violent demonstrations taking place in Los Angeles. Newsom baselessly claimed “Democracy is under assault right before our eyes. The moment we’ve feared has arrived.”
