Summary

It is a frustrating time. Most of us are losing our minds with the lack of accountability for Trump & Co. We’re mad at the Democrats for not moving faster and doing more. We’re mad at the DOJ for seemingly doing nothing. We’re mad that it feels like we’re the only ones calling for justice and we want results like, yesterday. But, as Teri Kanefield says, “It’s important we don’t fight autocracy with autocracy” because “if we fight like them, we will end up like them” and then our democracy will be well and truly gone. People need to channel their anxiety into productive action. At the end of the day, there is no magic bullet. The only way to save democracy is with more democracy. 0:31.1	Most of the information we consume these days is in bite-sized snippets.

0:35.5	I do it myself and my rants.
0:37.3	People have very little time, and sadly with our dwindling attention spans, snackable information
0:42.5	is a good way to get ideas into people's brains.
0:45.2	But not everything in the world is black or white, good or bad, clickbait headlines.
0:49.2	One of the things we've lost in this society of 24 hour news and social media and smartphones
0:54.4	is nuance.
0:55.4	And I'd like to add that back into the conversation, but in a way that doesn't feel too overwhelming.
