Summary

That alone is the epicenter of the Christian life—not spiritual disciplines, social justice, ancient theology, or community, as good as those things may be. The central invitation is to know God rather than simply know a lot about him or do a lot for him. The recovery of this daily relational intimacy was never meant to be optional. It is the essence of everything.
