0:06.0	because I was supposed to be preaching last week.
0:08.0	And so the title of this message is don't hold your breath.
0:13.0	Don't hold your breath.
0:15.0	And I don't know what God's going to do in this room, but I believe that he wanted to stop it from happening.
0:24.6	So I'm praying for the spirit of wisdom and revelation.
0:30.2	I am in John, chapter 1, verse 47.
0:36.5	I'm reading from the New King James Version context is that Jesus is beginning to
0:42.7	show himself to his disciples. They don't know it yet that they're going to be his disciples,
0:48.4	but he's showing himself. And as he's showing himself, they're realizing that he is the Messiah,
0:54.0	the promised one.
0:56.0	And in the process of them beginning to experience Jesus, they go and tell other people,
1:01.0	you know how we do when we get a revelation about something, we go and tell somebody else about it.
1:06.6	And so when we enter this text, Philip has gone to Nathaniel to tell Nathaniel, I think we found him,
1:13.2	the one that the prophets told us about.
1:15.6	The Messiah, I think we have discovered him.
1:19.4	And Nathaniel cannot believe it primarily
1:22.1	because he comes from a place that no one would have suspected.
1:26.0	He came from Lagos, Nigeria.
1:28.4	Can anything good come out of Lagos?
1:30.0	He came from the south side of Chicago.
1:31.8	Can anything good come out of Nazareth at this time?
