As listeners of the podcast, no, my typical format is to have an interesting guest with us

who leads his or her own life enthusiastically and can give us guidance as to how to do so with ours.

But this podcast is being recorded for presentation on November 3, 2020, which is election day in the United States.

So I felt that it probably wouldn't be fair to have a guest for the podcast that competes with this very monumental election.

So instead, I'm just going to make a brief appeal to everybody who hasn't yet voted.

This is the most consequential election that any of us have ever lived through,

and it is really important that we vote and express our opinion for the kind of government that we want.

Many people have already voted.

In fact, record numbers of voters have done so.

But if you haven't, this is not an election in which to crumble about the fact that,

a item like either one of them or things aren't going to change,

there will be a dramatic difference in the way that the country is run depending upon who wins.
