Summary

Jesus won’t get distracted by your change of subject and shallow conversations. Jesus sees beyond the surface, embracing your past and present with compassion. He offers a safe haven for genuine conversations. Jesus is ready to understand you deeply today; spend some time with him in deep conversation. “ The woman said to Him, ‘I know that Messiah is coming’ (who is called Christ). ‘When He comes, He will explain everything to us.’ ‘I am He,’ Jesus told her, ‘the One speaking to you.’” (John 4:25-26) For more information, visit lakepointe.church/dailydrive

that Jesus moved among people, that you and I might push back

0:55.4

on the whole cancel culture that we're currently living in, and we would value people the same way

that he did. We left off yesterday with Jesus telling her that the water that she had come to

1:05.8

draw from that well was only temporary. He said to her, but those who drink the water that I give will never be

1:12.1

thirsty again. It becomes a fresh bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.

1:18.4

Well, I don't know, but I think that perhaps she responds a bit sarcastically about this quote-unquote

living water, and she says, well, why don't you give me some of that, so I don't have to keep

1:27.3

coming here at noon to draw water.

1:29.1

And she spins on her heel to walk away.

1:31.5

And Jesus says to her, why don't you go call your husband and come back?

1:35.2

Stops her in her tracks.

1:36.7

She says, I don't have a husband.

1:38.2

Jesus says, you're right.
