Hey, what is up, everybody? It is at early, early here on a Saturday morning, or maybe

it's late on a Friday night if I get this published in time. This is Locked-on Vols coming

at you in the Lindsay Nelson Stadium brand-new press box. I covered baseball tonight, but I did

have to get on here and talk about Tennessee's win over Miami, Ohio in the round of 64. It was a big win for Tennessee. Tennessee just Cruz absolutely dominated. A 22 point win, 78 to 56, and all this without Nate Aments. Again, we'll get in that here in a moment, but he can score a point. Didn't need Nate A. Ment to be so dominant in this game. So what's his status? Virginia's coming up next. We'll know about them. But first, just how Tennessee went about beating Miami, Ohio. Again, I'm Eric Kane. Thank you so much for being here. This is exactly what I thought was going to happen. I mean, I'm not going to sit here and act like I'm a basketball guru or, you know, I had this mismatch and this mismatch and all that. But, in fact, the matter is, again, I talked about it on yesterday's show. Tennessee is just clearly a better football team. It is basketball team. It is bigger. It had a significant height advantage in this one. I mean, Tennessee as well was so overpowering that the volunteers played a lot of small ball, right?

One big, four guards, or, you know, three guards wing and one big. Having that wing, Natia meant when he was in the game, being, you know, acting as the four.

Tennessee was so dominant, it had such a height advantage and such a mismatch there.

Tennessee was able to dominate the boards. I mean, Tennessee in the second half, despite not playing

very well, still out rebound in Miami. Tennessee overall in the game just crushed Miami on the

boards. Tennessee shot 52% from the field in the game, and that was a second half that was pretty sloppy, and Tennessee still shot 50% from the field in the game. I mean, again, this was a Cinderella type team, a team that played in the, was it the Mac? Yeah, the Mac. Everybody was kind of rooting for them like we talked about. All of America wanted Miami to keep on winning because it was a great story and it's fun to make fun of Bruce Pearl, but you have a big time emotional win

on Wednesday night over SMU in the play-in game. And the only way that SMU, or excuse me, that Miami, Ohio

was going to give Tennessee some trouble was if it came out shooting and dropping threes consistently.

And Tennessee just wasn't able to take advantage to that mismatch.

I mean, there was just, honestly, there was just one way that Tennessee was going to get

beaten this game.

It was if the perimeter defense was so bad and Miami was dropping so many different threes that Tennessee
