President Donald Trump said he didn't know about the Justice Department's plan to reach out

to Jeffrey Epstein's former associate, Galane Maxwell, for a meeting.

But that, it quote, sounds appropriate.

I don't really follow that too much.

It's sort of a witch hunt. Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022 for carrying out a years-long scheme

with the convicted sex offender to groom and sexually abuse underage girls.

In a post on ex, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said, quote,

No one is above the law and no lead is off limits.

Maxwell's attorney told CNN they're talking it over with the government.

This, as the DOJ is asking a federal judge to make years old grand jury testimony from the Epstein case public.

However, the federal judge says he needs more information from the DOJ by next Tuesday,

including why they want to disclose the transcripts and whether Maxwell is against it.

A White House official says President Trump is pulling the U.S. out of the United Nations

educational, scientific, and cultural organization.

The withdrawal will take effect on December 31st,
