Summary

It can be easy to sometimes slip into a pattern of reading God’s Word just to say we did and check it off of our to-do list. When this becomes our rhythm, we easily forget what we read by lunch time and miss out on the power of what we are actually reading. Emma Mae is diving into the Word today to talk about how important and beautiful it is to not only read God’s Word, but to apply it to our lives. There is closeness with God and life change from the inside out on the other side of us truly seeking God in His Word and living out what His Word says. -------------- Support the Have You Heard Podcast with a small monthly donation to help sustain future outreach https://donorbox.org/emma-m-ministry -------------- Sponsors https://www.Faithfulcounseling.com/emmamae - 10% OFF your first month of counseling https://www.emmamaemcdaniel.com/shop - Shop our merch! of God's word, but being a doer of God's word, and the importance of actually putting it to practice.

So I am over the moon. Friends, grab your headphones, and let's get into the word.

So I want to start off in one of my favorite verses. I probably say that all the time,

1:54.5

but I love second Timothy. And second Timothy, chapter two, I want to read this to you guys. It's

so good. So Paul is writing a letter to Timothy. It's a second letter that we have in scripture

and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses and trust to faithful men,

share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits
