On the show called Stand a Reason, what I often characterize as clear thinking Christianity or Christianity worth thinking about.

And I've been thinking about it for a long time.

More than the nearly 50 years that I have been a follower of Jesus and a disciple of Christ.

By the way, it's interesting, excuse me, I just finished reading through the book of Acts again.

And actually when I was in Wisconsin, before I'd go to bed at night, I usually try to do this a little bit.

You know, I have some things I like to read to kind of wind me down as part of my routine for going to bed.

But the first thing I grab is scripture in some translation and I read some.

I do in the morning, if I can, usually I do.

But it's easy to do when I go to bed.

Just even if it's five minutes, I read a couple of robbers, a song, whatever.

But I've been just working through the book of Acts when I was on vacation.

And I like it as a vigorous book and it's interesting to see what happens.

But one thing that stood out for me is how the believers were described.

And sometimes they are described by the word believer.

Not usually by the word Christian, because they were first called Christians in Antioch.

And that comes up later.

And it was kind of a put downward, you know, all these Christians kind of thing.

But they didn't refer to themselves as Christians.

They refer to themselves as the way.

And because they were following the way.
