1:01.6	And here's the question that we've been asked. Does God commit genocide in the
1:05.8	Old Testament? Now this question's been around for a really long time, but it's made its way
1:10.8	back into the forefront of the conversation because of Richard Dawkins' book
1:15.6	The God Delusion. In the God Delusion, Dawkins, who you are probably familiar with, he's an
1:20.8	atheist, he attacks Christianity on the basis that God is a genocidal
1:26.6	maniac. But maybe before we go any further, it just might be smart to have a good solid working definition of genocide.
1:36.0	It's one of those words that we hear and we probably know what it means, but let's try to
1:40.3	get a more precise definition.
1:43.0	And here's a really simple one.
1:44.7	Genocide is the mass killing of a particular ethnic group.
