taken his own life while in jail. The latest twist has Gislane Maxwell, who was convicted and

sentenced for her involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking case, meeting with the

Deputy Attorney General of the United States for several hours over two days. This is highly unusual

and suggests there may be new information or developments in her case. The reasons for these

meetings are unclear, but speculations include the possibility of a retrial, appeal, resentencing,

or even a pardon commutation.

However, the details of the discussions are being kept confidential.

There is also a separate House subpoena for Gisleine Maxwell to testify, scheduled for August 11th.

This could provide additional information, though the hearing may be closed to the public.
