I was speaking to one of your Labour colleagues in Parliament one morning this week,

and they said there were some new MPs who haven't spoken to Kirstama since he became

Prime Minister. Have you had any contact with him? No. Not at all in 12 months? No.

Do you know of other colleagues in a similar position? Oh yeah, I think there's a handful of us.

I mean, I've, I think I've been in a, obviously I've been in the chamber when he's been in answering questions

and so on and so forth, but I've never actually had a conversation with him.

That is the Labour backbencher, Neil Duncan Jordan, saying one year into this Parliament,

he still hasn't met, hasn't spoken to the Prime Minister.

And is that in a way the crux of Kirstama's problem? He hasn't done the retail.

He hasn't done the schmoozing. He hasn't told the Labour MPs, we love you, we need you, we want

you to vote for our policies. What is the Labour plan? What does Kirstama want to do in government?

We're not entirely sure we know.

The bigger question is, do those around him understand what the Prime Minister wants?
