Yes, apparently that's being discussed.

So reports came down from the athletic and came down on Tuesday

that Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bolsby and new PAC 12 Commissioner George Cleofcoff were meeting

to discuss the possibility of a merger of the two conferences or maybe just a scheduling

alignment, something like that, right? That's what they were supposedly set to talk about.

Now, this has been, I thought, from the get-go, a good option for the Big 12 to consider.

All right, you've got 12 in the Pack 12.

You've got eight leftover in the Big 12.

So you say to yourself, okay, that makes sense.

I mean, 20 teams, not a bad conference.

Now, what I would do in a perfect world is let West Virginia go to the ACC. That's where they want to go.

Now, this is me speaking as a fan. There's a lot of hurdles. The is not something that is used anymore in college sports, but that's how I'm talking here.

Let West Virginia go to the ACC.

You've got seven big 12 schools remaining.

And then you add one more to the mix to make a pack 20 or whatever you want to call it, all right,

whether it's a Boise State, a BYU, you, whoever it might be. And then you have an East

Division and you have a West Division. And your East Division can include the former Big 12
