And when Dorothy Jean Tillman II successfully defended her dissertation in December,

she became the youngest person to earn a doctoral degree in integrated behavioral health from Arizona State at age 17.

A doctoral degree at age 17 before you're even expected to graduate high school in many cases.

ASU professor or other associate professor Leslie Leslie Manson, told ABC's Good Morning America,
