0:26.3	I'm Jeff Kavens. Thanks for joining me. We're at the beginning of the Easter season,
0:31.2	right now. And I do hope that you're holy week and Easter. Did you go to the Trotum?
0:36.0	I hope it was really a memorable event and holy and meaningful in so many, in so many different
0:42.2	ways. I can't think of a better way to celebrate Easter than to go to the Easter vigil. Did you
0:50.1	get to do that this year? If you've never done that, put it on the calendar for next year already
0:55.2	because it is really an amazing experience. And in our parish, we had, I think it was 21 people,
1:02.5	something like that. It was very impressive. And there were people that were receiving the
1:07.7	sacraments of initiation. And there were those that were simply receiving one sacrament or two
1:13.6	sacraments. And it was just great. And I really, I really appreciated that. And so I hope you
1:19.3	had a wonderful experience as well. Well, today we're going to be talking about,
1:24.2	do you want to be happy? Now, that's a rhetorical question, isn't it? Because I've never run into
1:29.3	anybody who has ever told me, no, I do not want to be happy. In fact, I want to be miserable.
1:36.1	That's just not the way we're wired. Everybody is searching for happiness. And it's a matter of what
1:41.7	we define happiness as and how do we go about obtaining it? And that's what I want to talk to you
1:47.6	about today. I want to give you some real practical advice as well as some things from scripture that
1:52.3	deal with happiness. And like all other shows, it's not the answer to everything, obviously. In
1:58.6	other words, as a result of listening to the show, you're not going to wake up tomorrow morning
2:02.1	and say, man, was that a show? And I am so happy now. Happiness really is the result of living a good
2:08.2	life. And it's not a matter of pursuing something and saying, well, I'm searching for happiness.
