I'm Keith Simon. I'm Tanya Wilmeth. And I'm Patrick Miller. We're in the middle of our Christmas

0:15.4

series right now. We're exploring the stories around Jesus's birth and the

0:19.5

prophecies pointing forward to it.

0:24.4

The Christmas story is full of unexpected plot twists.

1:20.4

why your story is turning out the way it is. If maybe even now you're

1:24.7

disappointed with the way your life is going, then the Christmas story is a great

1:29.0

reminder that God always writes better stories than you and I do. If we would have written the Christmas

1:35.2

story, we would have had a lot of prestigious people, a lot of powerful, smart, influential people.

1:41.6

We would have had a story filled with heroes in which everything turned out well.
