Summary

Do you need to take a multivitamin or supplement or can you get all the vitamins and nutrients you need from food? That is a question that millions are wondering and also something that vitamin companies are counting on. The global supplement industry is worth more than $120 billion as people turn to the vitamin aisle rather than the produce aisle.

On this episode of The Exam Room™, Dr. Neal Barnard joins "The Weight Loss Champion" Chuck Carroll to settle the great vitamin debate. You will learn how to eat a healthy diet to ensure your body gets nearly everything it needs from the food on your plate and the vitamins you should still be stocking up on even when eating a plant-based diet.

Dr. Barnard also discusses whether the coronavirus can be found on the meat and fish being sold in your local grocery store! Multiple studies have shown people are going home with a lot more than they bargained for.

Plus, Olympian Dotsie Bausch returns to the show! She and Chuck discuss the growing number of elite athletes who are ditching dairy and making the Switch 4 Good! As certain as she is that she has a medal to her name, Dotsie is equally certain that talk of dairy being essential for strong bones is a bunch of hot air. Simply put, milk does a body bad!
