So if anybody out there hasn't been, and I would imagine most of you haven't,

been able to go to a MLB, NFL, NBA press conference. The way it works is you've got your beat writers, guys that are there every single day during training camp and exhibition games

and practice days all through the season. Then you've got usually your local TV people that show up on game day and maybe

Wednesday because the quarterback or maybe Thursday when the quarterback speaks and you get

that the news at 11 sports and so you get that.

Then what happens when the team gets to the playoffs, a few more people swoop in, people

that probably don't know the sport all that well.

And then God forbid

you win a playoff game, like your first one in 32 years, everybody in their brother that owns a

microphone or a camera needs a credential, which is fine. Except when that happens, and I do,

I don't fault this person because clearly I don't think she covers football on a daily basis, or at least I

hope not. When you then hand out those credentials to people that don't belong there, really,

and I haven't been there all season long, and they're just swooping in, you get 40 seconds that
