0:21.1	Our top story, protests and riots erupted in Minneapolis Monday morning today
0:28.2	after a police officer allegedly fatally shot a man during a stop.
0:35.3	So I've got a lot of details about this.
0:38.6	I've got a lot of thoughts.
0:39.8	You want to fill us in a little bit more on the story, Pinkley?
0:43.5	Yes, the riots broke out last night.
0:45.8	Not in response to anything in George Floyd in Minnesota,
0:48.4	but instead in response to this officer involved shooting
0:50.5	where a 20-year-old was shot and ultimately died. What happened
0:55.6	according to the police is that around 2 PM on Sunday after determining
1:00.0	that the suspect had an outstanding warrant. Now I don't know how, I don't know what the probable cause was there.
1:04.8	They say in the story or the mother of the victim says that he was stopped because of an air freshener
1:10.5	in his car. I don't know if that's what the police would say, but according, because this
1:15.1	guy did have a bunch of outstanding warrants out and he had had some violent felonies that he committed
1:19.4	so it could have been more than just out, but I don't know. But according to the police,
1:22.4	when they tried to
1:22.8	arrest him he got away and tried to get back into the car and drive away and he
1:28.4	did drive away but not before one of the police officers shot him. And ultimately he later died.
