Genie+ also saw a price increase starting at $30, a $5 per day increase. Parking rates have also increased $5 across the board. Magic Key Holders were also not spared with the Imagine and Inspire keys going up $50, and Enchant and Believe going up $150. –https://www.micechat.com/336395-disneyland-ticket-guide-price-increase/ https://www.micechat.com/330375-disneyland-magic-keys-everything-you-need-to-know/ If you are listening to this right as it is released, you may have the chance to get your hands on the latest Trader Sam’s tiki mug. This time, the theme is Ursula! This tiki mug is only available on Wednesday, October 18th at Trader Sam’s. The mug design is that of Ursula’s cauldron and is purple. – https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2023/10/15/you-only-have-one-day-to-get-disneys-new-trader-sams-tiki-mug/ The new area of Downtown Disney which is currently under construction is going to host some new eateries and has a name. Parkside Market will house four new locations for guests to dine while at the resort. Seoul Sister will be a fast-casual restaurant serving Korean Rice bowls with a California twist. Sip & Sonder will serve lattes, as well as fresh treats, frozen drinks and Caribbean-inspired bites. GG’s Chicken Shop will serve a family-friendly menu of chicken sandwiches, salads, and classic dinner table sides. Finally, a second-story bar will serve craft cocktails and mocktails. – https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2023/10/4-new-dining-options-revealed-for-new-parkside-market-more-coming-to-downtown-disney-district/ A couple new design elements have been added to the new Downtown Disney expansion area. The stage is a unique mid-century modern design and a new sculptural tower crafted by Nikkolas Smith honoring the contributions of mid-20th century architects of color in Southern California. This area should debut later this year. – https://www.micechat.com/344054-disneyland-news-downtown-disney-expansion/ Just last week we talked about the new animatronics that Imaginnering was working on. This week, they were already in the park delighting guests roaming around Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. What makes these so interesting is that there are multiple of them walking around at the same time! They move in a very animated and playful way and remind us of the ducklings that you can see walking around the resort in the spring. – https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2023/10/12/people-are-loving-disneys-new-wandering-droids-youve-gotta-see-why/ As we spoke about in our last episode, there is a lot going on over at the Pixar Place Hotel. A lot of construction is happening on the exterior of the building, and around the grounds. Inside, there are still areas that have curtains around them to mask some continuing work. – https://dlnewstoday.com/2023/10/photos-wall-e-store-named-staircase-to-the-soul-realm-completed-and-more-construction-updates-from-disneys-pixar-place-hotel/ Discussion Topic: Our Oogie Boogie Bash Experience This podcast is powered by Pinecast.
