And they get in return third round pick in the 2026 NFL draft, which of course will be right here across the river.

Fifth round pick in 2027.

Dallas gets the Steelers sixth round pick in 2027.

So they just switched late picks in the 27.

What you're really getting out of this is a third.

And I have a feeling that's going to be the thing that comes up more than anything else today. I can't imagine you're going to see a whole lot of tears shed for George, obviously a tantalizing talent, and just as obviously, how do I put this nicely, a whole lot of maintenance.

I'm not saying anything now that I didn't say all along, really.

For me, especially after what I thought was a pretty reasonably mature start for him to his NFL career,

he ended up becoming, at least in his time in Pittsburgh,

not quite the problem.

And when you couple that, all of that with George entering a contract year,

a very real possibility, and I mean very real possibility that he was

going to be a hold in at training camp, you were asking for all kinds of trouble that you didn't

necessarily need heading into this coming season. So, you know, there's pluses and minuses to this.

You would have liked to have gotten a second round pick.

I think everybody would agree with that.

You would like to have, you know, you would like to have had George be an adult, you know,

as long as we're getting into regrets here, because then maybe none of this is necessary, meaning

giving up the second rounder for, for, uh, D.K. Metcalf and then putting $150 million into him.
