Now, every year around this time, Art Rooney meets with a group of reporters.

I was in that room last year, and he'll eventually get to the point in that meeting where he's making it clear what's the big message,

what's the edict that comes down from above.

This is a new double shot show. Glad to have you here.

Art's going to have another one of those meetings. I haven't announced a date yet, but it's coming fairly soon based on precedent.

And I'm sure he's thinking about all kinds of different possibilities for not just questions

that'll come up, but things that he wants to get out.

What I can't see this year, I felt like I could in the past.

Like three or four years ago, you remember it was all about, we need to run the ball.

We need to run the ball better.

We need to get a running back.

And that was the year, of course, that everybody follows through.

And you knew everybody knew that they were going to draft either Najee Harris or Travis A.T.N.

And they got Nodge.

He also had other times where, like last year, for example,

I think it was understood that it was just going to be a, you know,

need to start winning in the playoffs,

need to start winning playoff games or whatever.

Okay, that was the headline that emerged from that one.
