I don't make a habit of doing happy, happy stuff, you know, positive spin stuff.

But I do feel it's appropriate to point out when there is something that catches your eye and you go,

oh, yeah.

Okay, that's good.

That's good.

Let's highlight that a little bit.

Justin Fields spoke with reporters today at the Steelers practice facility on the South side.

And in doing so, Fields made a statement about his own performance,

about how he felt it compared to what he wanted it to be.

And I'm not going to do it justice just listen to him just listen to him

I mean I don't think I'll play you know fair enough

I'm being rude myself I think I'm I did play well enough. I don't think there would be any

I mean you've got a few wins. Of course I'm glad about that but there's areas that I can be better at and I'm just going to

I mean you heard it right from it.

And not to twist this into something that's negative or whatever, but remember a year ago

when the reporter from Erie asked Kenny Pickett if he learned anything while Mason

Rudolph was in there and he was like, now, this is the polar opposite of that.

This is how someone gets better at what it is that they're doing, what it is that they hope to be.

And Fields, for him to stand there after two, three days now of seeing, hearing and reading about this or that and him and Russell Wilson

and everything. For him to do that to me is just even more impressive than what I've already
