We can talk about what's positive and negative and all that other stuff as it relates to this football team.

You're just going to get whatever the D.K. happens to be that day.

It's neither positive nor negative.

It's neither happy nor sad. It's neither a downer nor some pep rally. It is whatever the subject is. That's if you think about what we do as reporters,

if you think about our role, all of this probably makes a whole lot more sense.

We're not in here to say, go now, beat those whoever's they're playing this weekend.

It's not that.

That game in Cincinnati was a setback and a half for one side of the football. We're not going to gloss over that,

because you know what happens if we do? You're not going to take us seriously the next time

we say something positive. Oh, yeah, that guy, he's always happy. He's always this or that.

Uh-uh. The only thing that we should be doing on here is getting into what's real.

That's it.

And what's real right now is that defense needs, it needs a big, big, big bounce back.

But since everybody's all whatever about this,

I'm going to offer you what I think is the one

most significant reason that this defense can

bounce back.

And that's going to be that they do have talent.
