There's no official injury report today because that's just not how it works on a bye week.

Nobody has to give injury updates.

No team does until you're actually in that week. Well, that practice week begins.

This is the NFL for you tomorrow. Well, no, really it begins Wednesday. So we're going to have to

deal with the updates that we do have from, you know, just picking things up because the Steelers were reunited today

on the South Side. I'm Dan Kovachievich of D.K. Pittsburgh Sports. This is double shot of

Steelers presented by Fandul. There were two positive updates, arguably two negative updates. Positive

updates, Joey Porter and Alex Highsmith both expect to varying degrees to be able to participate against the Browns this weekend.

Whereas Calvin Austin made it sound like it's going to be a while and Jalen Ramsey wasn't even around.

What does that mean for this team right now?

Arguably, not all that much.

And I say that with respect to the guys that they'd be missing.

They still have to perform.

They still have to do their thing.

They can't be what the rest of the AF North, the rest of the

AFC North has become, which is they're beaten down by injuries, but they're also getting

beaten on the field. The Steelers have managed to go three and one through their own travails.

And granted, the Steelers haven't lost quarterbacks and stuff like that.

So I'm not necessarily comparing injury to injury.

I think the team is in a pretty good spot.

They're going to be fresh.

They're going to be rested.
