All right then.

So we still want to talk about Mason Rudolph or not talk about Mason Rudolph,

as some people were suggesting, because this or that or whatever, hey, that's done. He's coming. He's going to be back.

The question is whether or not he's going to be the starter, whether or not he's going to be the

man. And that's going to take some time, I think, to determine that.

He has agreed, I should say, to a two-year, $8 million term,

$4.5 million of that is guaranteed in the first year.

So from a contract standpoint, there's really not that much to discuss.

I mean, it's virtually a doubling of what he made last season in Nashville with the Titans.

It was never, as I told you, it was never going to be some sort of bank breaker because he's never been very highly paid because in his first incarnation with the sealers,

he was obviously Ben Rathesberger's backup for most of that time.

And then was put into positions where he had to battle with other people.

And even when he would beat them out, he still wouldn't get the job.

Yes, he came back anyway.

Okay.

And as I told you guys earlier in the week, he wanted to come back.

This was a situation in which he had choices.

He had other teams who had either spoken to him or outright made offers. One of them,

incidentally, was the Titans, you know, to stay there in a situation that he already knew for a year.

And even though the Titans had their own uncertainty and have their own uncertainty at starting quarterback with,

you know, not knowing what the heck they're going to do with Will Levis.
