Aaron Rogers was on a political show earlier today, and very, very little of it had to do with the Steelers or his career or really his future in any context.

The one portion that was that would be of interest to the Steelers was when he was relating things that he has that are happening off the field

that have his attention. And the quote that laid out the most was, I've figured it out

the last year when I've been in the weeds with these people who are close to me that have cancer, end quote.

Now, there's nothing else to be had here.

There's no who is that, what is that?

Is it family?

Is it friends or whatever?

That's his life, his call, his situation.

But what you're talking about here, because he was the one that connected the two, is that there's a personal thing that is holding his attention, that's holding his focus.

And totally independent of what any of us thinks of that, it's not football.

It's not football. What does that mean for the Steelers?

I don't know. I don't know. You know, Art Rooney was asked this week at the NFL spring meeting,

how much longer the Steelers are intending to wait on Rogers for an answer.

And I'm going to read you the entirety of his quote as well.

A little while longer, I'll say the same thing.

What he means by saying the same thing is he repeated almost word for word,

what he said back at the NFL's annual meeting in Palm Beach, Florida.
