Clubs taking on the nationals tonight across the river.

It's a 6.40 p.m. first pitch from Paul Skeens,

which alone should be something that attracts an awful lot of attention, if not necessarily a big

crowd. I'll remind everybody for only about the billionth time that you don't sell your tickets in season. You sell them out of season, which means you're

going to see some really, really light, light attendance figures early on. And there's honestly,

not that much that anybody can do about it. It's just not the way the business goes. You have to sell your seasons.

You have to sell your group sales. You have to create attention, a fear that the place isn't going

to be sold out. Oh, no, oh no. That's when people start getting more aggressive about their

buying. You're not going to see that tonight. People don't just make up their minds that day to go to the game.

So bear that in mind when you see that Paul Skeen's pitched in front of whatever,

it ends up being four figures.

I'm not excusing it.

I'm not defending and I'm just trying to explain it.

I want to talk to you today about some of them.

Well, normally I don't get into the little transactions,

the little daily stuff that goes on back and forth.

But it's, there was a need for the move today.
