Pirates are in Canada for the weekend, taking on the Blue Jays, three games set at Rogers

Center, formerly Skydome.

And the Blue Jays aren't what they've been in recent years.

They're five games under 500, 22, and 27.

But the real challenge tonight might be Bubba Chandler against his own command.

He's 1 in 5, which doesn't matter.

He has a 5.14 ERA, which very much does matter.

And he leads all of Major League Baseball in walks,

which matters to a painful extreme.

It's, man, it's getting tough to watch him pitch at the risk of exaggerating that a little bit.

Because the funny thing is, he'll still strike people out.

He'll still look like that prospect version of him that had you so excited until not all that long ago,

but then he'll issue one of his 31 walks.

He has 31 walks to go with 36 strikeouts.

If you cut those walks in half,

I really don't think I'm exaggerating when I say this.

You would have a pitcher who is,

I don't know that he'd be as effective as Braxton Ashcraft, but he'd be, he'd be your third or fourth best guy with the other stuff that

he has, with everything else that he has going on, obviously his fastball, his velocity,
