Hi guys, welcome to double shot of pirates.

I'm Dan Kovachovich of D.K. Pittsburgh Sports.

And your baseball club is fresh off 16, count them one six runs, plated last night against the

national 16 to 5 final. They go again tonight with Washington, and this was just announced

putting an opener out there because they've run out of pitchers. So they're going to have a

bullpen game, which tends to go really well for any given

opponent.

So we'll see how, how or if the pirates can sustain all of that offense going into, going

into this game and really all four of these.

I don't want to sound, you know, like a jerk here towards some other

team, but boy, they don't look very good, Washington. And I understand they just swept the

brewers and there's some legitimately exciting young bats, but there's just not much there on

the mound. There's not much there defensively. And it looks like they're going to give up a whole lot of runs.

Might as well give up a whole lot of runs in these four games and take them all.

That's just me, though.

I'm not getting ahead of anything.

It's impressive.
