The Wilkesbury Scranton Penguins remain in action and therefore at least some members of the 2026-27 Pittsburgh Penguins remain in action.

They actually have an elimination game five, and by that I mean elimination for both teams,

it's the best of five series, against the Springfield, Massachusetts Thunderbirds.

That's going to be in Wilkesbury tomorrow night.

And it's a game, I really think they had better win,

not just for the obvious elimination circumstances.

I think there are some guys on this team that need to show,

on that team, I should say, that need to show management that they're worthy

of playing above the American League level.

I know nobody likes it when you criticize young players, but in some of these cases, these

young players have been around for a while and they've even spent a decent amount of time in

Pittsburgh and they just don't seem to poke their heads through the ceiling there.

And I don't exactly gain a whole heck of a lot of confidence from that.

Now, I can keep picking on Billy Coivinen,

but I feel like it's kind of warranted.

Coiffinen's your main guy,

no matter how else you break down that Jake Gensel trade,

he's the main guy you got in that exchange.
