Just back from Cranberry and the Kyle Dubus annual press conference at the end of a season.

And these are always, I don't want to say eventful.

It's not like there's a ton of news that comes from them,

but there's a lot of insight that you might not otherwise get.

And it's insight that has to cover you in all honesty here for not just weeks but for months

so it's kind of like a last opportunity to go into everything that you want to go into

and the headline was obviously unconditionally going to be

Yvgeny Malkin and his status.

And Dubus left really no doubt whatsoever

about how things are going to go with Gino this summer.

And I'm going to play you that video right here.

I mean, obviously, I had a great accident interview with Higgeny directly, and then

subsequently, he had continued discussions with his representative, J.P. Barry, and the season

that he's had, where we're at, where we're going,

I don't look at our younger players,

I think they did enough to have it viewed like he's blocking anybody out in that regard.

So we would love to have him back and just continue to work with J-T on it.

So I think that's like,

we would love to have him back. And then everything else that you heard was check,

check, check, right down to he's not blocking anybody, which was a point that I brought up yesterday.
