Not that the people running other NFL teams are always right anymore than the people in Pittsburgh are always right.

This doesn't work like that. But it can be instructive to hear what they say and to watch what they do.

the Super Bowl. They certainly had their cracks. Back in the 70s, they were the Bills before the Bills

became the Bills. But they've got a team now

that would have to be on pretty much everybody's shortlist of real contenders the Vikings were

14 and 3 this past season and they were in a division with the lions who were 15 and 2, and the Packers,

who were 11 and 6, before anybody gets too amped up about this whole AFC North is the

dominant division in football or whatever. No, no, it's not. That would be your NFC North. Yeah,

there's, there's talent there. There's depth there. There's a difference maker,

maybe unlike any other in football in Justin Jefferson. And I say that with apologies to the

truly great Jamar Chase in Cincinnati. There's only one Jefferson. They've got a lot of things

going for them.

The Vikings do.

So when you're talking about going for the Super Bowl and being a contender, a legit contender, to win it all,

you can either just kind of arbitrarily set it as your objective, because it sounds good,
