in Charlotte, and he gave some standard lines about how his team plans to approach having

the number eight overall pick in this class.

I don't really want to get into specifics on like where I would trade back to, but, you know,

I think we're definitely open to trading back and acquire more picks.

You know, I think we're going to be open, you know, to all possibilities.

Let's put it that way.

Yep. And every GM it that way. Yep.

And every GM says that.

Like literally every single one of them.

You're going to hear the same stuff from Omar Khan next Tuesday when he and Mike Tomlin

do their thing.

And yet, there was a difference because Morgan would not stop talking about it.

At another point in the session, he said, and I quote directly, I always look at it,

like it only takes one team to fall in love with a player.

A team could fall in love with a player and decide they want to trade up with us and go get their guy.

We'll be waiting if somebody wants to come up.

End quote.

At another point when he was addressing what would happen if no such transaction occurred,

he went on to describe what would happen if we were, quote, stuck, and quote, in that position.

He wants.

He's virtually begging for somebody to come up and take this pick off of them.
