I mentioned more than a few times on this program that I'm not in the habit of kicking people on the way out.

I want to make it really clear that that's not what's going to happen on this episode related to Arthur Smith.

I've learned to like the guy.

I respect the guy.

I learned a lot from him.

But my goodness, it is really striking.

How far he's fallen just in the past few days as it relates to this franchise.

Smith earned himself a fourth interview request yesterday.

This one coming from the Chargers, two of those interview requests have been for head coaching vacancies, one with the Titans, another with the Cardinals, the other two for offensive

coordinator, those being the Chargers and the Lions. That's not a bad group to have waiting on you.

And that, plus Smith's prior three years with the Falcons before coming to Pittsburgh,

would kind of lead you to believe that in some form or other he would have been seen in

at least a decent regard by the Steelers' management.
