One of the many things that I'm grateful for between the life I have and the job that I have

is covering the great T.J. Watt.

If he isn't the best defensive player, I've been blessed to be around,

he's top two or three easy.

And unlike, from what I sense, a fair amount of other people,

I think it's a big game for the player as well for TJ.

I'm not blind and I'd like to think that at least most of the time I'm not an idiot.

So yeah, I can acknowledge the obvious.

TJ is not having a great season., I can acknowledge the obvious. T.J. is not having a great

season. And I mean that in the literal sense. He is not having a T.J. level season. He's not having

the kind of season that everyone has come to expect from him for quite some time now. Putting that in

more stark terms,

he is not having the kind of season

that would equate to $41 million in cap value.

And that, of course, is what he's getting

through this three-year,
