and I'd rather just get what I feel out in the open.

The feeling that I get, and of course this isn't universal, but there's a lot of it.

From the fan base regarding fields is that he'd be some sort of consolation prize.

He'd be what you'd get if you can't get anybody else.

He'd be, you know, the last guy behind the last curtain.

Why?

Well, I think there's also a view that there's just no way to get anybody else.

The free agency class looks like it's going to be Sam Darnold and dot, dot, dot.

The draft class looks like it's going to be Dion Sanders' kid and maybe one other guy, and that's it.

And I actually don't hear too many people excited about the quarterbacks who are available all the way to the top of this draft class.

So you're not going to outspend a whole litany of teams that are going to be going after

Darnold.

You're not going to move up in the draft for a quarterback.

You're not going to take a quarterback in the first round, even sitting where you are.

So what else is there? Well, I don't know,

Fields is here. We can keep him. Oh yeah, let's do that. Woohoo. That's, that's the sense that I'm getting.
