It's not super easy to support the notion that this offense is getting better.

But let me start with the finish.

It is.

Colts this week is going to require somebody or some facet or multiple somebody's and

multiple facets to rise up as really they've not had to do yet this season.

I don't think you can look at any of the Steelers for victories to date and say,

oh, yeah, they had to really go above their norm to beat, I don't know, the Vikings in Dublin.

I guess you could say it to an extent about the Patriots because it was in Foxborough,

but then if you remember the nature of that game, it was pretty much generated by

defensive takeaways near Pittsburgh's own goal line, which isn't exactly a formula for success.

This one is going to take something that we haven't seen before. And I would imagine

that we all can agree that the odds of that being the defense are really low at this particular

time. So, swing back to the other side, the offense, which has been pretty good. I'd say over the past

three games, what do you do with the numbers? Hard to say. The Steelers have the 25th ranked

team in the NFL in total offense out of 32. That's yards per game. But they're 12th in scoring,

which is the objective of the game. Why is that? Well, they settle for too many field goals.

They did it again this past Sunday against the Packers, and they're also not really built to benefit
