For all the question marks that McCarthy is going to encounter across the scope of this entire roster,

one of them will not be found in the running backs room, where he has not one, not two, but three weapons that

probably would be the envy of a lot of offenses around the league.

Jalen Warren, known commodity, cemented himself in my view in the 2025 season as a legitimate

1A back in this league.

Kenny Gainwell, team MVP, Kenny Gainwell, did everything for this offense.

Ran the ball, caught the ball, ran hard, hit the edges, delivered splash, and I'm not even mentioning

everything that he contributed on special teams. Caleb Johnson, do not discard him over what

essentially was a lost rookie year. He comes with real pedigree from the college level. He was the horse, the offense at Iowa.

The kids told me himself, he needs volume in order to be effective. He had anything but volume.

So what's the problem? You've got three of them. You like three of them. You keep three of them.

Yeah. Let's play it out first, okay. Gainwell's in for a payday. He's poised to be an unrestricted

free agent. That means anybody can sign him anywhere for any amount they want.

And given that one team's MVP is likely to be somebody else's number one running back,

and there are other teams with greater needs at the position,

you would think that there'd be a pretty healthy market
